When you walk into Rotem’s office the goal is to feel safe and comfortable. Therapy is meant to be a caring, judgement free environment where your concerns, thoughts, and feelings are addressed, and solutions created. Whether you are coming to sort through anxious thoughts, depression, grief and loss, substance abuse, trauma, or concerns related to perinatal mental health you will come into a space that will help you untangle troubling internal narratives in exchange for solutions and coping skills to carry out in your life. The goal is to highlight your strengths so that you can shine. After all, you are the expert on yourself and the right therapist will help you realize just that.

Meet Your Therapist

Rotem is a licensed mental health counselor and has been practicing in the state of Florida for the past eleven years. Originally from New York City, Rotem moved to South Florida with her family to pursue new opportunities. In that time, she completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the Florida State University followed by her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Central Florida. Rotem has worked in the addictions field for several years and learned about the importance of patience and unconditional positive regard in the therapeutic process. This skill set has helped Rotem develop safe and meaningful relationships with her client’s, fostering an environment of growth and self-reflection. Over time she also realized her passion for working with couples/families struggling with perinatal mental health issues. After completing advanced training through Postpartum Support International (PSI) she took a special interest in working with families navigating through infertility issues, challenges involved in the adoption process, grief and loss, as well as postpartum concerns. Through her own journey to parenthood, she became motivated to share her insights, experiences, and hope with others as they work toward achieving their own dreams of creating their families.
